Thank You Everybody..

Just wanted to say a very Big Thank you to everyone, that left comments on the last post and for all the wonderful emails you sent. It meant a great deal to all of us, that you were thinking of us. Cameo is completely fine and is quite happy grazing with the others. So hopefully no lasting effects on her.
After having such a sad start to the day on Thursday, our friends arrived from Kent in the afternoon and we ended up having a lovely weekend. They left on Sunday Morning. Then Harry went away with the school on Sunday afternoon, to do his half of the French exchange. He rang me last night to say that he had arrived safe and well and where was his phone charger!.. (Typical Boy).
We also had a meeting at the Riding school last night, about the Medieval Fun Day, which is being held on 15th August. Ben stayed at home on alert, in case anything happened while we were out.
Mick's parents are coming up today and we are busy fertilizing the fields, the weather is wonderful and the Sun is blazing.
There is still no movement with the other Mares, who are now overdue, so your guess is as good as mine as to when they will foal..
I'll update as soon as we have any news...

Hi Debbie. I've missed you and lovely to see you back. I know everyone else has too!
Glad you are all ok and Cameo is out grazing and in good health.
Hope Harry has a lovely time in France. The weather will be nice for him. Hope he doesn't eat them out of house and home.
Not long until the medieval day. Have you finished all the shields?
Hope the babies come soon and give you peace of mind.

Hi Debbie, I hope those babies come soon and are all strong and healthy. I wish for your son Harry to have a safe time with his host family. The phone charger made me laugh! We have 3 boys so I know what you are going thru. Lol
Miss you but know you are very busy.
Big hugs!

So sorry about the little foal. We've been through this on my FIL's farm with miniature horses, the foal was lost and the mother was septic and had to be put down. I actually hugged her neck and cried over her as the shot was administered. We've also lost little goats and many babies have had to be taken in the house, put in a baby's playpen and nursed to health because the mother was either sick or wouldn't care for them. Animal husbandry can be exhilerating but also heartbreaking at times. I have missed you lately--been in my royal funk. But I'm hoping to be back for good.
