"The Burrow"....

Rik's New Harry PotterOn Monday Tracy Topps, from over at Custom Styled Dollhouse Kits, posted some fabulous photographs on her Facebook Page. She had taken them at the Miniature Show in Chicago at the weekend. While I was looking at Tracy's photographs I came across these.
Rik Pierce has built "The Burrow".
Tracy took a four day class with Rik at the show and she has posted pictures over on her blog.
I emailed Tracy and asked her if I could share her photographs with you all, as I know a lot of you would love to build this in miniature. Tracy very kindly agreed. Thank you so much Tracy.
If you click on the pictures they will pop up bigger.

I love Rik Pierce's work and his Barrow is no exception! He's allowed himself some artistic licence by adding the stove in the inglenook. ;o)

I erroneously referred to the Barrow as the Warren on my blog recently....you didn't correct me Debbie! lol I discovered the error myself! You must have thought I was barking mad lol ;o))

Saw this piece close-up and personal this weekend. Fabulous! (I, of course, took pictures of nothing....sigh) But it was a wonderful show.

His workshops must be amazing. Am I right in thinking all this was completed in 4 days? Wow.

Michelle I must have been asleep not to notice LOL..

Tabitha you lucky thing. I thought it might have been a bit wonkier, it looks a bit too straight.

Hi Janice no this wasn't completed in four days. Tracy took one of his other classes. Pop over to Tracy's blog to see the pictures. Just click on the link in my post. xx

The project Tracy did was called "Fair Rosamond's Bower" and I had the good fortune to see that also. Class sold out in a minute...it was an amazingly beautiful piece. Simply awesome. Next year I must plan ahead....
