Mummified Fairy... Part 2

Remember the Mummified Fairy that I made last Saturday?.
Well after much debate he's got Ears. I made a couple of simple pixie, elfin shaped ears from Fimo, baked them in the oven and then stuck them on. I then covered them with the very fine tissue paper and painted them.
I think they've given it something, not quite sure what, but something.
I also dry brushed a bit more paint, over the teeth to make them stand out more.
If you click on the pictures they pop up bigger.
Harry doesn't like it, he said it looks sinister, sitting on the dresser in the Kitchen.
I need to make some bits to go with it, but not sure what yet...Any ideas?

I am also with Harry. I always think of fairies as good and kind but there is nothing good or kind about this fairy. He really is sinister!! Maybe he needs some fire and brimstone around him.

Harry gets the nod. I think the good mummified Fairy has crossed over into bad mummified Demon/Gargoyle territory. But it's bad in a good way!

Actually, I always thought the grin was a little creepy -- the ears just seal the deal!

Love the ears, by the way ...

Creepy yes, but in a good way. If he was a warrior fairy he could have been buried with his sword?

I love these dead fairies!!!

I'd suggest pointy teeth, but then it's getting into vampire territory.
Some dead withered leaves and branches - or maybe ivy twining through his/her ribs or around the limbs might suggest a more 'woodland' feel. Perhaps a wildflower wreath around her head.
And I love it!! Strong, and with character. Well done, you've given my imagination a kick-start, Debbie!

I love him with ears, he looks really evil now! Haha.

Personally I'd have him clutching a a bloody and battered 'Tinkerbell' but I'm a very sick puppy when it comes to art like this :P

This is absolutely amazing! In the past I never thought of myself as a witchy type mini follower but I'm telling you, you're converting me quickly. I'm amazed at some of the witchy wizardy things I'm seeing on these blogs. Oh my! I just love them! And this skelly guy is so creative! Thank you for sharing all that you do ~

I surely would NOT want this is MY kitchen! He's gone over the edge with those ears and teeth!
I think Harry should get out the fly swatter. Maybe it's not really dead?

Ich mag eigentlich keine so finstere Gestalten... aber es ist eine sehr gute Arbeit, Debbie.

I'm with Harry too! I'm not on the witchy side and THIS guy is really terrifying.Does he need some sort of spell to keep him quiet? In this case I wish you know it! Hugs to you all, have a nice Sunday Rosanna

He looks like a kind of scary, evil, demented fairy! LOL! Now tell the truth, are the good fairies really sorry he is dead?! Hmmmmm?????

Love him. And hope you are well, Debbie. It is Mother's Day here--don't know about 'over the pond' but Happy Mother's Day!

oooh sinister he may be but it certainly suits him! there was something missing before but now he has ears its perfect! I think a couple of pointy vampire like teeth and a couple of invisible wires so it can 'fly' or at least hang in a corner somewhere ready to scare the bejeesus out of someone would be good too, but I'm a bit twisted like that! LOL

It's most certainly sinister in a gargoyle/vampire sort of way and I wouldn't want it in my bedroom! lol I totally agree with Harry! However, I think he is a wonderful creation. You said that you used fine tissue paper, hmmm what do you define as fine, the type that you wrap presents in?

I see him with and around lots of dead and decaying undergrowth maybe near a headstone or two!

Un hada muy gotica, quedara bien en una buena tumba con cosas extrañas.
la verdad es que da un poco de repelus

A very Gothic fairy, was staying well in a good tomb with strange things.
The truth is that gives a bit of repelus (hair of top)

I think the added ears really bring him to life, lol. He looks so good with them, he reminds me a bit of a gargoyle with the ears. You did a wonderful job.
