Look How They've Grown..

Just had to share these pictures.
I've been taking photographs of these four Herbert's since they were babies.
The oldest photo I have of them all together was the year Kiera was born. The three boys were sitting on the sofa and Ben was holding Kiera in his arms. The oldest holding the youngest. There is two years between each of them.
The top photographs were taken in September 2005.
The bottom ones were taken this morning, it's amazing how big they've all grown in a few years.
We had the tape measure out as well and Ben is now 6ft 4ins, Ayden is 6ft, Harry is 5ft 11ins, although Ayden and Harry look the same height that inch makes all the difference and Kiera is 5ft 1in..
We've had a wonderful weekend together, where we recreated Christmas, and I can honestly say none of us wanted to say Goodbye this morning.
I'll be back later with some more pictures..xxx

It's puzzling, isn't it? How you can glance away for a moment and they shoot up a foot! They're lovely children. I couldn't say who Ben looks like but he has your open, friendly face.

It constantly amazes me how quickly my kids grow as well! I have taken soooo many photo's of them over the years that I was glad when I got a digital camera and could store even more pics! I often drift back and remember them when they were a different age ... hark at me, makes me sound as old as I feel! LOL

The best time is when we can spend moments together with our children.

Its scary isnt it, I often sit staring at my teenagers and when they ask why, its cos I cant quite believe they are mine!! So grown up! Emily is 17 and towers above me, and Jake now at nearly 15, with a deep voice and a first girlfriend. I love to look at old pics and remind myself of how cute they were but I do love this older stage just as much. Love to shop with my girls thats the best bit!!! All of them look a great group, bet your so proud. Kate xx

Glad you had a nice few days Debbie.
We always measure the kids at Michaels Mums. She has a door that she opens and measures everyone.
The inside has not been painted for over 50 years so the door has quite a lot of kids that have all stood there for 5 decades. I think its great and wish i had started one myself.
