I've Got A MeMe...

I've been awarded another 2 blog awards. Thank you Lenira.
Lenira's blog is called Minimundomania.
Now I'm not sure about what I have to do with the MeMe, so if anyone can tell me, I would be obliged.. However, I do know that with the other one, I've got to pass it on to another 15 people...
I'll be back later with my list.
I've just had an email from John, who I've made the Cabbages for and I'm pleased to report he's over the moon. I'll be posting more photograph's later, once their paint job has dried... Be back soon..

The New Batch...

I've finally finished making and cooking the new batch of Creepy Carnivorous Cabbages. The Gentleman, that I'm making them for wanted more teeth. The idea Nikki gave me worked and I'm really pleased how they've turned out.. They just need their paint job now. As they are all hand made everyone is different. There's one that looks like its poking it's tongue out at me... Think that one may be staying here for Diagon Alley..
After talking to Nikki via email, she's come up with some weird and wonderful creations for me, but the one that had me nearly, crying with laughter was Pissing Pea's.. Need I say more...

I'm Cooking Teeth...

Cooking teeth what a strange thing to say.. But I am.. Remember the Creepy Carnivorous Cabbages, that I made for Nikki. Well Nikki told one of her customers about the Cabbages and I now have a commission to make a crate full for John, the gorier the better. Now having never made them before making Nikki's, I did have a few problems with the teeth, getting the tricky little blighter's to stick in the mouth's. Well I think I've solved the problem, with thanks to Nikki for her idea's. I'm making double pointed teeth so that they can be pushed into the soft clay without losing shape and then re-baked.
I'll take some more photo's when their finished to show you the finished articles... Off to make the Cabbages now...

Making A Chest ... (Part 6)

Well I've managed to do a little more on the Chest. I've starting filling it with Antique Lace, Ribbons, Silks and Cotton materials. I've also made a no sew cushion, to put in there. I'll show you how to make these in a later post. I've also made a little pile of letters and tied them with silk ribbon, ready to pop in there as well.
Please excuse all the mess on my work table, it is on my to do list..LOL.

The Cottingley Fairies..

Whilst visiting Gaye's blog, Creating Dolls House Miniatures, the other day, I watched a video about A Wonderful Fairy Tree House. It reminded me of the Cottingley Fairy's and the film A Fairy Tale A True Story..
Harry's Godfather deals in Movie Props, and he gave me a copy of one of the photographs, that was used in the making of the film. Which is in one of my Scrapbooks. I thought you might like to see it, so I've taken a photo of the photo for you to see & a copy of the original photograph.
The Sepia coloured one is from the film, The black and white one is a copy of the original.
Do you believe in Fairy's? I do, I do, I do....
