Mags, they are really strong, Nearly blew my head off yesterday, when we opened a jar that we made a few weeks ago..Brian some are for us, some are for friends and family. Mind you my lot can eat a jar at one sitting..
jeez... you eat a lot of onions!! a jar would last our house a whole year! my hubbs likes them but I cant stand anything vinegary. Were you wearing goggles peeling that lot? LOL
No Wendie, no Googles, it makes me cry for about 5 minutes then I'm OK. I just don't put my hands anywhere near my eyes. I do however wear my Marigolds, otherwise your hands stink for days. LOL

LOVELY! I usually do some - but not this year....and never that many. However my courgette became a marrow.......so I've made Marrow Ginger Jam.
Line them up and they'll look pretty in any kitchen. :)
