Pump-Kins...

I had a present from my Friend Wendie over at Wendies Mini World. Wendie, makes some wonderful miniatures, if you haven't seen her work, then I suggest you go and take a peek.
A little while ago, I sent Wendie some bits and pieces for her Skool Of Majick.
She sent me these Pumpkins and a Candle Peep, for the metal Halloween House, but I think I may use them elsewhere.
Wendie's faces, always seem to have a little bit of mischief in them. Can you see what I mean?

Nikki's Miniatures...

A couple of weeks ago, Nikki made some great little Skele Bottles and a few other bits.
I loved the Skele Bottle, even Ben wanted one. It reminded us of Jack The Pumpkin King, from Nightmare Before Christmas, which is one of Ben's favourite films.
So I sat very patiently at the PC, as Nikki listed all her little creations, in her Etsy Shop. If you've ever tried to win anything when Nikki's listing, you've got to be extremely quick on the buttons, or else poof its gone.
I really thought that I'd missed out on the Skele Bottle, as it didn't show to start with. But when I came to pay the invoice, there it was. I also managed to get a Candle Bottle, a Pumpkin Jar and a set of Nikki's candles. Nikki also kindly popped one of her Brooms in the parcel for me to finish. Thanks Nikki... xxx

Even More Candles...

I'm still working on my candles..
I ended up using florist wire for the wicks, which I've painted black and pushed into the Clay. Still making them, love the little faces that are suddenly appearing.
Even my boys are impressed with them. Might even give them a go on EBay..
I've got a busy day tomorrow, need to go Food shopping and my Car is going in for it's MOT. Just hoping that it passes, could do without another bill. Must remember to get some batteries for the Camera as well, just managed to squeeze this picture out of it, before the batteries cut out.

I'm Still Working On Candles..

I'm still working on my Candles and I'm on a roll. Everyone is different and I'm so pleased with how they are turning out. I'm still making more, then I'll pop them in the Oven all together. I've already rolled out lots off different sizes, to work with. Just wondering what the next face to appear is going to look like.
Still haven't decided whether to use black clay or painted florist wire for the wicks. What do you think?...

I'm Working On Candles...

I'm currently working on some Candles with faces, for Diagon alley. Still some more refinement needed, but you get the general idea.
Will post some more pictures once I've finished working on them.
The tiny one is approx 1/4in tall and the biggest is 1/2in tall.
