If You Want To Get Ahead Get A Hat...

Some more Miniatures I haven't showed you.
These Beautiful Miniature Hats were made by my friend Kat. Everyone that knows me, knows that I have a terrible addiction for Kat's Hat's. I've given up counting how many I have now..

When Kat first showed this Leather Top Hat, I fell in Love with it. I emailed Kat, and asked very nicely if I could buy it and the rest they say is History.
Now Kat being the lovely Lady that she is, also included the little Purple Hat with the Mad Jazzy Feathers.
For those of you that may need a Miniature Hat, go and have a look at Kat's Blog page and her Etsy Shop.
Kat, does make exceeding good Hats...

Steampunk Witch Hats....

As you all know by now, I have a bit of an obsession with Kat's, Witch Hats. I Love all the ones I have in my collection, but Kat's, Steampunk ones are currently my favourites. I already have a couple, but when I say these on Kat's blog, a few weeks ago, they called my name. So I emailed Kat, and asked her if I could buy them and as you can see she let me.
They are fabulous.
Kat, has some wonderful hats in her Etsy shop at the moment. I'm especially drawn to the Steampunk Witches Cat Hat, that's a beautiful confection of Orange and Brown.
But then again, she has another Lime Green Steampunk Hat, in her Ebay listings..
Oh Dear I must resist....

Julie Lawton....

Julie Lawton is better known as Little Characters or more recently Cottage Kitty Miniatures.
Julie has been making miniatures for the last 10 years and has been an exhibitor at Miniaturia and Kensington Dolls House Festival. Julie specialized in Tiny Tudor Mice. Julie very kindly allowed me to use her pictures to show you all. I Love the little Mice. Julie still makes her little characters to order. If your interested in a Little Character, please contact Julie direct.
I recently brought some tiny little Bird Skulls, and a tiny little book from Julie for Diagon Alley. Julie also made me a lovely little Witch shaped hat pin stand. Which will go into my Witches Hat Shop when I eventually get round to making it. I really struggled to get a good picture of this to share, its really tiny.
Julie's is currently selling her miniatures in her her Etsy Shop and on Ebay.
Please pop over to Julie's blog and say Hi...

It's Wicked...

Do you remember a few posts ago. Janice from over On Being A Mini Mum, shared some pictures of her
Witch E.T Grubb's Emporium and inside was a wonderful collection of dresses. Janice very kindly shared the links, from where she had purchased them from and I went and had a look, bid on, and won this dress from Cheryl Armstrong on Ebay. It came a few days ago, but what with the Foals being born, I forgot to show you all. Cheryl has some lovely miniatures, on her Ebay at the moment. I'd definitely recommend her, and will be watching to see, what other wonderful creations she lists in the future.
I teamed it up with one of Kat's Hat's for the photograph and it matches perfectly.
The name of the dress was "Wicked" and it certainly is...

Feather Boa...

While I was in Town this week, I popped into the "Bargain Box". They have an assortment of stuff in there from Hair accessories, Cleaning materials, Toys, Gifts and Crafts. Plus its all really cheap in there and I love a bargain.
Over in the corner on the Craft rack, I spied these, packets of Marabou Boa in five lovely colours, White, Black, Lilac, Pink and Green. Each packet contains 2 meters of Boa.
I have some plain Witch and Wizard Hats that I've brought from Kat, and thought this would look brilliant on them. So I brought them.
I haven't stuck any of this on the Hats yet, but in the last two pictures, I've just held the Boa tightly to the Hat and you can see the effect.
I think this would also look great, on a Miniature Doll as a feather boa, or on cards or even on a Scrapbook page.
I'll be back later once I've got some decent pictures of the gifts Nikki sent me...

As Promised Kat..

Now as you all know I have a collection of Witch Hats from the very talented Kat over at Kat The Hat Lady Witchy Blog.
Well just over a week ago Kat made some Steam Punk Hats. I absolutely Loved them, but by the time I got over to her Etsy and signed in, they had gone. I emailed Kat and she very kindly agreed to make me another one. Well Kat made a few and gave me first refusal.
Well I couldn't just pick one, I liked all of them, but eventually picked two.
I promised Kat that I would take some photographs for her as I'd done before. I've already emailed all the pictures over to Kat and I thought I'd share a few with you all. Please click on the pictures and they will pop up bigger.
Mick did make a comment about how many of Kat's Hats that I have, my reply was "A Lady can never have too many Hats". Good job he didn't see all the ones that need decorating...LOL

When we got back today, I went out to get the post and there was a parcel from Kat in the post box. Look what she sent me. Lots of bits and pieces for Diagon Alley and my Witches Hat shop, when I finally get it built!!! I'm totally in Love with the Witches hat isn't it beautiful. This is the side view, at the front it has a lovely black beaded buckle. Thank you so much for your kindness Kat. I really appreciate it.. xxxx

Wonderful Witchy Hats...

I had a lovely surprise this evening. As the boys came in from school they brought the post in and there was a parcel in there for me from Debie over at Piskies and Poppets.
Some time ago Debie needed some miniature test tubes and I sent her some and in exchange she said she'd make me one of her lovely Witchy Hats.
Now as you all know I have a bit of a thing for Miniature Witch Hats, I've got quite a stash of them from Kat over at Kat The Hat's Blog.
Well when I opened the parcel from Debie there wasn't one hat but five! Aren't they absolutely wonderful. Debie has managed to get them all twisted yet retain their shape, its so clever. Even Mick was impressed..
I have all the plans drawn up for my Witches Hat Shop, just need to get my finger out and build it. I've carefully repackaged Debie's hats and stashed them away with the others until their new abode is ready for them.
Thank you so much Debie I Love them all.. xxxx
