Diagon Alley ~ In Daylight

 Following on from yesterday's post on Eeylops Owl Emporium, here are some more up to date pictures of Diagon Alley. 

When we visited the Harry Potter Tour, it gave me loads of ideas, to get a bit more of the Diagon Alley Atmosphere. I need to make some more hanging signs to put on the buildings. Finish off the inside of the Apothecary, which at the moment looks like a tornado has gone through the upstairs. 

I just tell everyone it was a Magic spell gone wrong.

I've also taken some pictures of Diagon Alley at Night, so will be back later to show you all.

Flower Kits ~ 1:12th Scale Pumpkins

 I've been really impressed with the Flower kits, that I've been putting together from Georgie Steeds.

So much so, I went over to her Etsy shop and ordered a few more. I brought the Pumpkin Kit, the Lilies Kit and the Foxglove Kit, I also brought a new pair of needle pointed tweezers.

They came beautifully wrapped in tissue, with a lovely butterfly label.

 I started putting together the Pumpkin kit first and I have to say, I'm impressed how realistic it looks. I now need to make the Pumpkins, to sit underneath the leaves. I want to have a little vegetable patch, as well as a Flower Garden in Desdemona's.

Diagon Alley ~ Some New Pictures

I was playing around with my Camera the other day and I took some updated pictures, of my Diagon Alley. I shared them on my Tiny Treasures Page on facebook, but forgot to share them on here.
I am still very, very slowly filling the shops and sorting out what's going where, but then I change my mind and move it all again. So until I'm completely happy, I haven't taken any updated pictures of the insides.

Nimbus 2000

A few weeks ago over on Facebook. Rob Worthington of Magical Miniatures, had a give away on his Facebook page, to win a Miniature version of a Nimbus 2000. All you had to do was like the page and share on your own page. Which I did, never thinking in my wildest dreams that I'd win.
But Win I did and the Broom arrived last week.
Rob, has his own Web site & Etsy shop, where you can see and purchase his miniature creations. Rob is also a member of Artisans In Miniature. Just look at Draco's Broom and the Quidditch Set, which I adore.
On Saturday, I managed to get some decent pictures to show you all. As you can see it looks right at home, with the other pieces in my collection. The Doll in the pictures is by Joy Cox of Adora Bella Minis, the Witches Hat on the stand is by Kat  & the Pumpkins with the flowers are by Lory. The Broom will eventually reside in my Diagon Alley, but for the moment it's in the Glass Cabinet, where I can look at it..

Pump-Kins...

I had a present from my Friend Wendie over at Wendies Mini World. Wendie, makes some wonderful miniatures, if you haven't seen her work, then I suggest you go and take a peek.
A little while ago, I sent Wendie some bits and pieces for her Skool Of Majick.
She sent me these Pumpkins and a Candle Peep, for the metal Halloween House, but I think I may use them elsewhere.
Wendie's faces, always seem to have a little bit of mischief in them. Can you see what I mean?
