Diagon Alley ~ At Night

 I must admit, I do love looking at Diagon Alley when its all lit up at night.

In the first few pictures I left the Dolls in place, but in the rest I removed them.

Eeylops Owl Emporium ~ Diagon Alley

 After visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour back in May, I came home and had a really good look at my own Miniature Diagon Alley. I think I've got the atmosphere just about right.

I really need to work on Eeylops, I know exactly how I want it to look inside and now having seen the real Eeylops, I'd like to try and replicate how they had the hanging cages and birds outside.

I took these pictures a couple of months ago, whilst playing around with my new Camera, but forgot to share. I also need lots more Owls...

Harry Potter Studio Tour ~ The Knight Bus

The Knight Bus was also in the Back Lot. 

You can stand on the Platform, but you can't actually go inside.

Harry Potter Studio Tour ~ Hogwarts Bridge The Back Lot

 The Back Lot, contained all the Big Props used in the Film. The Bridge From Hogwarts, the Knight Bus, 4 Privet Drive, the Tombstone of the Riddle Family, the Potter House, the Giant Chess Pieces and the Ford Anglia. 

These are the pictures of Hogwarts Bridge, it was beautifully constructed and you are allowed to walk on it.

It was also the place where you could buy a Butter Beer, which of course we had to try. It 

tasted a bit like Cream Soda, but with a Butterscotch taste and a very frothy top. It was lovely.

Scrapbooking ~ For Queen & Country ~ Part 3

 These two pages are of the first two official photographs, taken of Harry by the Army photographers. The First of him and the second is his section photograph.

I've continued to use the Papermania Portobella Road Papers. The Card stock is Bazzill Basics.

In the first picture I have made up flowers using Dovecraft Paper Blossoms, that I brought from Ebay, a pack of gems and self adhesive lace, that I had in my stash and the Portobello Road Buttons tied with Butchers twine, which is readily available on line in loads of different colours and some off cuts of the Portobella ribbons. The Chequered hearts were cut using my Quickutz dies.

For the second layout, I made pin wheels from card and paper and used brads for the centres. A couple of them sit on foam pads, to lift them up on the layout.

The Bunting & Pennants, were made from off cuts of the Papermania Portobella Road papers, waste not want not. They were hung on Butchers Twine and adhered to the layout with sticky dots. I've obscured the names of the Lads in the Photograph, but in the layout all their names are listed underneath. Harry is on the top row, second one in from the left, as you look at the picture.
