Merlin

My Magnificent Merlin, my beautiful Bear, Newfoundland & Gentle Giant, left us today to run free at the Bridge and he has taken a piece of my Heart with him.
From the moment we picked you up as a Puppy, we had a special bond, you were always my gentle bear. My protector who would always sit on my feet, right in front of me, when we met someone new, putting yourself between me and them. A babysitter for the other animals including the Ponies, we often wondered if you thought you were a Pony. The times you would steal our things, but never chew them, just hold them in your slobbery jaws. A lover of Children who you would let hug you tight and you'd never move, just drawl all over them. You'd make us laugh how you'd do that woof, throw yourself on the floor and roll over for your belly to be tickled or to be hoovered. Silly Bear. How if we throw a Snowball and it hit the floor, you would dig in the Snow to try and find it.How you used to shake your head and cover us and everything else in your slobber, that could travel at jet speed. Visitors were warned never to wear nice clothes when visiting, because they would always go home with some of the "Merlinators", slobber somewhere on their person.
It was an honour to have such a magnificent beastie in my life. How I will miss you slobber chops, until we meet again.

Seeing Your Children Having Fun - Priceless

This is the last Video that the boys shot yesterday and I have to say I thought it was the funniest.
If you look closely you can see that Ben had dug a small trench. Now this was there to stop Harry dead in his tracks, but as you can see it had the opposite effect. Totally Priceless. LOL

I've also put a few photographs over on Hericus Blog of the Ponies in the Snow.

How To Take Out The Big Brother....

Now I didn't see this happen or the next video. I'd already gone back indoors, so can you imagine the laughter having heard me cackle in the last one, once I'd uploaded this. I think some one's going to have some bruises tomorrow. Thankfully my camera survived.

Dare Devil...

I've had such a giggle today watching Harry on a home made Snow Board, down in the bottom field. We had another couple of inches of snow last night.
Ben borrowed my camera and filmed Harry, while Mick and I stood in the yard watching. All you can hear is me laughing in the background. I was worried that he was going to come off and break something, but I just couldn't stop laughing at his antic's, he's a proper Dare Devil. Even our neighbour Michael in the Cottages came out to watch him and was having a laugh.
Ben took some brilliant video clips, which I will share as they get funnier as they go along.

Medieval Fun Day Dress Rehearsal Pt 2

The two videos above show Harry practising for the Fun Day. In the first Video he was pratising on his own. In the second Video the girls came in and started to scream when he got near them, just before he chopped off the head!
It was slightly changed at the end. As he chopped the head off he went back and claimed it from Donna and then rode round the Sand School Shaking it at the audience..
