Another Wizard...

Another Wizard to share with you. Not sure where in Diagon Alley, he's going yet! I think I brought him at the Dolls House Fair at the Inn On The Lake, Near Cobham in Kent.
I have a little book, that I normally write everything down in, but still haven't found it yet..
I love the face on this Wizard, but not so sure about his clothes!
Now the nights are drawing in, I'll hopefully start making again. Wants to make some Dragons teeth to hang from the Apothecary ceiling and small bunches of Herbs.

Large Cauldron

This is really a Salt Cellar, its made from Pewter and I spied it on Ebay quite some time ago. Luckily, I won it with the starting bid. I'm going to use it in the large fireplace opening in the Apothecary.
Originally, it would have sat on the table and had a small spoon to ladle the salt out and sprinkle on your food, alas the spoon has been lost. But won't it make a lovely Cauldron.

Meet Dobby...

This is Dobby. Another fantastic creation made by Judith Laird of Crumpled & Rumpled.
Dobby is a House Elf.
I fell for him as soon as I saw him. He's so Ugly that he's cute, if that makes sense.

Another Harry Potter Project

Whilst I was trawling the web last night, looking for Harry Potter related sites. I came across another Harry Potter Fan, who is currently working on a 1/12th Miniature of
Number 12 Grimmauld Place.
Number 12 was the Head Quarters for the Order Of The Phoenix. Will be following their blog with interest. Have also added the link to this blog in my side bar, for all the other Miniature & Harry Potter fans out there.

Hogwarts A Dream

For any of my Mini friends who are also into Harry Potter, check out this link for Hogwarts a Dream. Sally Wallace had a Miniature Hogwarts commissioned. Its got photo's from the construction to all the wonderful goodies she had commissioned to fill it.

Diagon Alley...

Thought I'd repost these photos of Diagon Alley, that I posted last year. Just to give you an idea of what the inside of the shops look like.

Wizard...

I had this Wizard made for me by Jan Clarke.
Jan is really well known in the Miniature World for her beautifully made dressed dolls. She used to be published quite often in Dolls House World Magazine and The American Miniaturist. Jan lived very near to me in Kent, but we both upped sticks around the same time. Me to Wales and Jan to Spain.
My photos really don't convey the attention to detail in the clothes. He has the most fantastic pointy boots as well. Must try and get a better shot.
