Diagon Alley..

Today after chatting with Nikki on the phone, about KDF. I decided that I was going to have a sort out in Diagon Alley.
So I've spent most of the afternoon, sorting, cleaning, rearranging and adding little bits and pieces, in the downstairs of the Apothecary. (I was supposed to be doing real life House work!). But Minis are more fun.
There have been a few swear words today, as the shelving unit fell off the wall, and a few of the potion bottles rolled across the lounge floor.
When I was in Hospital, Nikki arranged with lots of my friends out there in the blogosphere a huge surprise of Get Well gifts. I've been going through all those wonderful presents once again today, sorting bits out for Diagon Alley. I hope those of you that sent me presents can pick them out in the photographs. Some have been used in the Apothecary, some are going in the upstairs room in the Apothecary and some are going to be used in Eeylops and Flourish & Blotts.
The beautiful little Ghost Doll named Hope, made by Julie, has been placed upstairs in the window of Flourish & Blotts. There is a false wall up there and its been quite difficult, finding something that looks right in the window. I think you'll agree that little Hope looks just right.
I've still got lots to do in the Apothecary, but its coming along.
If you click on the pictures they will pop up bigger..

  4. I ADORE your Diagon Alley and it IS my favourite by far! I love the shop window with all the fabulous bottles (all the different colours and shapes), I also LOVE Julie's ghost doll, I was thinking about having one looking out of the bedroom window in Hogwarts. :o)

My own Diagon Alley is on my projects list, but I should at least finish the shells of all my other kits first! lol

  7. Oh Debbie what a great job youve made, that little shelf in the corner all lit looks fab! Love the way you have even more shelves on the inside of the opening door too, thats such a cool way of making more room for potions. So many great glass jars in all shapes and sizes! Julie's ghost looks amazing, and the perfect name for her too! You have started something now, with your wonderful picture of her looking out of the window, Julie's ghosts are simply irresistible! 14. What a sight for sore eyes, Debbie. I can recognise some of the gifts, Mercedes' little boxes and I think Eva made that basket on the floor?

And so many of us are in love with Julie's ghost dolls who look perfect where you put her. Your room is a testament to how wonderful & talented this community is.

It is a perfect apothecary and I am sure it carries the right potions to cure any ailments, including yours, Debbie.
