Medieval Fun Day...


Today we are going up to the riding centre to paint some jumps that John has built in the shape of Castles and to build some more props for the Medieval Fun Day.
I've ordered mine and Mick's outfits, which hopefully will be here by the end of the week. I'll post pictures when we get them.
The local shops are helping out as well by donating gifts for Prizes and putting posters up in their windows and the local wood yard is donating wood for the props.
Next week I'm up there again with all the shields I've made ready for the children to paint them...

    Debbie, I wish I could join in the Medieval Fun! Please be sure to take lots of photos for us. I can't wait to see the costumes. Have a cup of mead for me!;-)

    How I wish I were there! I'm sure everything will be gorgeous. Did you manages to find a costume sensible for riding? Has Harry found his black knight armour? I'm really looking forward the photos of all of you. Big hugs Rosanna

    I love Medieval Fairs!! We have one in Texas that last all of October and some of November and I believe we will be going this year!!! My sister and I plan to dress up.... now just to convince my husband that he would look good in tights :) haha. Have fun! -ara

    What great fun! Hope it gets drier for you for the big day! Its day 5 of the summer hols here and we are all stuck indoors watching Disney films, no show of the summer heatwave promised!! xx
