I'm trying to work my way through my "To Do List", and there's plenty to do on there..A friend from the blogosphere, asked me to make them a Rat Pie, so I made a Family size one for her, as a gift. I added the varnish this morning and it is drying as I type.
I've emailed her this morning and sent a picture, but I'll leave it up to her to reveal who she is.
I hope she likes it...
This morning, I asked Harry to go and check the Ponies for me, cause as you know we are awaiting some new arrivals. He came flying back in the House, saying "Mum, I think Lil is having her foal now!". So I've shot down the Yard, but it was a false alarm, she was just lying down having a nap.. Phew.. Thought I'd been caught out..
The rat pie is cute enough with all those little tails sprouting. Really lovely.

Oh, Liberty will have a good laugh about this in the morning, she knows how much I loathe rats. She saw a pet one at the kids museum and she thinks she should have one now! NO way, never! I'll tell her it would just end up in a rat pie for her dinner...LOL!

ReplyDeleteI'm collecting unusual food dishes to go in my doll and toymaker's workshop, which will (eventually) be in the new basement of the toyshop. They usually work through their lunch breaks but like to live life on the edge of the culinary lid.
Hence the rat pie.
