Paper Flowers..

Quite some time ago Susan from The Dollhouse Diaries, emailed me to say that she was sending me a gift. As she was having an anniversary give away on her blog.
Well it arrived yesterday. Neither I or Susan have any idea where its been, but the package was damaged and the paper flowers inside were completely flat, just like a pancake. As you can see by the photographs. I think that a very heavy weigh had been on the package to flatten the flowers.
Anyway, I sat and very carefully, re puffed up the flowers, straightening each individual petal and leaf and I'm pleased to report they have come up beautifully. If you look at the first picture you can see how squashed the White Flowers were, but now look at the bottom photograph, back to a beautiful bloom.
Thank you very much Susan, your gift is very much appreciated. I will be using some of these flowers, to decorate some plain Witchy Hats that I brought from Kat.. xxxx

  4. Lovely bunches of flowers. :o)What a shame they got crushed, goodness knows what was on top of the parcel! You could have held them under the kettle and revive them via the steam. :o)

  5. I am glad these flowers are finally under your care, Debbie. I am a little surprise how my mail to UK is diverted! My side is pretty reliable and I am sure yours too. If I remember correctly,I printed your address after I cut and paste from your email. I usually do that because my handwriting is really bad.

Anyway, you made them puffed up real nicely :). I have picked the blue ones for your Witches :)
