Hahahaha I love this post! sums up exactly how I feel about the commercial hype that surrounds today. Hubbs and I met on the 17th Feb so we tend to ignore Valentines completely and do something special on that day instead ....it's a lot easier to get restaurant bookings then too LOL Much love to you and yours Debbie, hope you have a 'love'ly day xxx
LOL Debbie...I just LOVE the cupid with the arrow in it's back...just how I feel about Valentine's day!! Have a lovely day & with a bit of luck you might get spoilt rotten!! Mini hugs, Linda
V-day was never that big a deal to me until 18 years ago....when I got the confirmation that I was expecting my beautiful, amazing wonderful son! (Geesh...gush much)
Happy Valentine's Day! We don't celebrate in a big way but as I got to go to the Tom Bishop show in Atlanta yesterday despite snow and ice on the roads (we drove very carefully!), I consider that my gift! DH is showering this a.m. to go get our three children something for Valentine's Day before we go to church! He tends to be more sentimental than I am.
Hilarious picture, Debbie. Today I feel like I've been attacked by hunters too. Nothing to do with Cupid or love though. I tried using 18 x4 year olds in a circus act! Might as well have been run over by a heard of buffalo. So at the moment I'll go for injured (or dead?) Cupid! Have a great and love-filled day!
I hate it... totally! Leave it to the youngs ones with time and energy on their hands, lol. I always say a few days before shall we pass on all that crap? The answer is always yes. Mind you i did get a nice carrot cake for after dinner, and what could be nicer considering it's my fave cake in the world. Yum! Nothing better! Lots of love to you, Nikki xxx
lol LOVE the photo Debbie! lol Shouldn't need one day a year to be romantic! Flowers etc., can be bought all year through...and it's not a bank holiday either! lol
LOL!!! That was so funny! Mellow day around here... just Hagrid and I. I'm baking a chocolate cake for some good friends. The house smells wonderful! Happy Valentine's Day! Hugs, Jill
