This evening when the boys got in from School, they helped Mick get my Dresser top up on the wall. I didn't realise quite how heavy it is. Not that they would let me help!. (Doreen in Canada and America you call them Hutches.)
I'm really pleased with it and couldn't wait to try my jugs out on it.
The antique shelves that were there is being moved to the left, in between the next lot of down beams. You can see them resting up against the window alcove at the moment.
The ABC's of life plaque hangs over the window.
Love your birthday shelf. It looks awesome on your wall. I can't imagine hanging something so big and heavy. Hugs~ Kim

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the new Birthday Shelf... believe it or not I had one very much like it when I lived in Portland, Oregon...there was a delightful antique shop called 'Abacrombies Emporium' all English Antiques... I did love it and regret selling it when we moved. I think this is beautiful and I love your walls and the whole look... OK...where are the tea cups sitting on the table...I blame you now for getting me all excited to try and find Builders tea...guess there is a tea called that...is it the one you use??
ReplyDeleteGood Purchase...
