Thankful...

Today's been a funny old day. I've not been feeling well over the weekend and today has been one of those days, where I could have burst into tears at any moment.
I hadn't been out to check the post, but the boys checked the box when they came in from school and there was two wonderful parcels in there for me.
The first one was from Katie over at Katie's Clay Corner. It is filled to the brim with all manner of wonderful Miniature surprises. The little note written on the cardboard container did make me laugh. You'll have to read Katie's blog to get the joke. I'll share all the contents with you tomorrow as the light is too bad to get some decent pictures.
The second parcel was from Kat over at Kat The Hat's Blog. It also contained some lovely goodies, again I'll take some pictures to show you all tomorrow.
Thank you both so much, I Love it all and really appreciate your kindness.

After having a really crap day those parcels really cheered me up, then to top it off I looked out of the lounge window and what did I spy the most beautiful rainbow. Without some rain we'd never have Rainbows. I think someone, somewhere is trying to tell me that there is a lot to be Thankful for... xxx

  6. A glass of wine and a buuble bath sounds positively delightful! Indulge yourself for once...rather than taking care of evryone else. Seriously, I believe that we get what we need when we need it....you clearly needed a rainbow...and a mailbox full of goodies and good wishes from friends. In this, you are blessed.

  9. Hi Debbie. Sounds like you need a good sleep. Not enough sleep over weeks is getting you down.
Have a rest every day and have a good lie in to catch up on all you have missed. Forget everything for those extra few hours.
But the rainbow was lovely wasn't it, and so long going down the hill.
    Hope you feel better soon.

  10. How nice to get such gifts from friends and also a gift from God. Just when you needed it the most. It is no wonder you are a little down with all you have been going through the past little while. You have so much on your plate with the lambs alone, never mind the earth moving, company, graduation, etc. etc. etc. You are plumb wore out and you need a good rest. Maybe a "mini" rest will help a little. ;)

  11. I hope you wrapped yourself in a nice warm blanket with a hot cup of cocoa and sat at the window to admire that rainbow. What an awesome awesome sight! Those gifts from your friends are precious too. Get well soon, Debbie!

  15. Yea!! I'm so glad my box got there...I was begining to wonder, but I figured you had been to busy to get the mail....Um~ Sounds like everybody has a good point here~ GET SOME REST!! I learned a long time ago that you can't take care of everybody else unless you take care of yourself first!! OK..I'll check back later when you have the pictures posted...

I have a print on the wall of a little girl playing in the rain hanging above my work table. It says
    "Then
when it seems we will never smile again....Life comes back."
    ...Loved the rainbow~ Lucky you!!!
