Dragons and Bones..

I have been talking to Nikki via email today and told her I was a bit mini ed out and needed to find some inspiration. So have been stalking a lot of blogs today and web sites. Then drawling over some of the things I've seen, I've had to mop up the keyboard.
Have been thinking a lot about this Miniature Witchey Hat Shop. As if I haven't got enough on the go!.
Thank you Kat & Kate for the photo's you posted on your blogs of your Hat Shops for inspiration. Just been over to Kat's blog and she's made some more fabulous hats, this time they are for the Rose Festival. I don't know why I just don't set up a Direct Debit straight to Kat's account.. LOL
Anyway back to inspiration, Ben came in from School and we were talking about Diagon Alley and he had a look at the Apothecary unit and said "Mum, I think you need to make a Skeleton of a Dragon". He then proceeded to draw me a rough sketch!. It then gave me the idea, that if I build my own Witchy Hat Shop,
I could have a pet Dragon lying or sitting on the Roof..
So what have I done about it?. Made some Bones for the Apothecary Unit instead..

  1. Love your bones which are looking fab in the unit.
I have a dinosaur skeleton if that's any use? Let me know and i'll pop in the post. Its plastic but could be painted up a little so it looks old.

  2. Isnt it great when the children get involved Debbie, ours all give us ideas. Some of the haunted ones are too gruesome to use but they like to have input which is super!
Cant wait to see the plans for the Hat shop and I know what you mean, I could be broke this month but at least my shops will look good and that makes me happy!
