Dragon Plaque...

A few weeks ago, I finally managed to win one of Nicky Coopers Dragon's. I'd tried on some of her other listings, but always seemed to get pipped at the post.
Inside the package when it arrived was a tiny little box, written on top was, Norwegian Ridgeback 'Norbet' Property Of Hagrid. When I opened the box, nestled inside was a tiny curled up Dragon. Isn't he lovely.
Then on her facebook page, Nicky showed some other Harry Potter inspired miniatures, which I was lucky enough to purchase from Nicky.
Unfortunately, for all of us, Nicky has decided to shut up shop and will no longer be sculpting. Please click on Nicky's name to be taken over to her web site, where Nicky has left a message for all her customers.
I personally think its very sad, but wish Nicky the best for the future. xxxx

Nicky's work is fantastic, I adore her sculpts and am proud to won a few myself. It is desperatly sad that Nicky has stopped working and we send her lots of Love and good health wishes. I am shocked and saddened though that she also had other miniaturists being nasty to her that attributed to her decision! Nicky is the lovliest of ladies, always so helpful and such a keen creative person with a great imagination . Your minis are fab, My fav is the goblin heads how cool are they !! xx

Oh dear, this news is so very sad. I'm shedding tears as I write this. Nicky's creations are priceless treasures. I love this dragon. Knowing it will be one of her last is just awful. I will be praying for Nicky and continue to hope that she will be able to return to doing what she loves soon.
Blessings,
Kathi

I just went to her site and read her message- how heartbreaking for her! I pray she is eligible for a transplant and has a return of some of her lung function. Her work is absolutely wonderful-the tiny dragon is adorable ♥

I too have a few of Nikki's pieces: dragons and birds and am sad that I discovered her work so close to the end of her career.
How sad for her that not only is she in worryingly poor health but must give up something she loves so much.
I wish her and her family much bettter tomorrows.

How sad. Nicky Copper is an amazing artist. Maybe she will be back when she gets sorted out.Her dragons are full of magic. I had hoped to own one someday, her dragons always make me smile. Best Wishes go out to her and her family.
